If you follow these guidelines, you are bound to have fun at the fayre:
- Watch out for poison ivy, ticks and snakes – they are a fact of life everywhere!
- Our insurance company requires that you stay in the designated areas for the fayre
and please don’t climb on any equipment or fences.
- Please – no smoking anywhere – think of it as a day added to your life
- Children are the responsibility of their parents and need to stay with them at all
times
- Farm animals can be dangerous…they want to live in the field without being bothered
so don’t go into the pasture or climb on the fences for any reason. If you need
help ask for it from someone connected to the farm.
- The fish and wild creatures love it here and don’t want to leave, so watch - but
don’t touch – they’ll thank you for your kindness
- The camping area is the home of our volunteers and friends. The house is the home
of Richard Jensen so please respect everyone’s privacy by not going inside either
area
- The recycling and compost areas are for your convenience so please use them freely
- The Wee Composting Bale is located behind the sugar shack and is for “men and boys
only” – we encourage men & boys to use the Wee Bale instead of the commercial toilets
(things will grow where you go...)
- Parking is free and in the designated areas only – keep driving down the lane until
you find a human who will direct you to the perfect parking spot. Then walk or take
the old-fashioned transportation back to the fayre
- Hiking is fun – but we ask that you stick to paths and don’t climb over fences.
- Pick wildflowers! Take photos! Hike, breathe, meditate, pray, eat, play games,
fish – just don’t scare any animals or the humans for that matter.
- Animals live here, but not yours. No pets (even on leashes. Our animals really
don’t like strange critters around.
